Driver Don Istook said "This is a great opportunity to align ourselves with more fans on the West Coast with double exposure for The Arc Audi Racing Program team. Infineon is one of the best tracks we race on, and has some of the best motorsport fans in the country."
The Arc Audi Racing Program's mission is to help raise awareness of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) by utilizing a crew member with I/DD., They bring 20 "Honorary Crew Members" to the track from various chapters of The Arc, located in close proximity to the race tracks they compete on, to show that they too can "compete" as a regular contributing person in our society.
The race dates are Aug. 25th for the GTS race and two TC/Spec B races, and Aug. 26th for the TC/Spec B finale.
World Challenge is North America's top production car-based racing championship.
