JP Southern Jr. Represents F4 U.S. and F3 Americas at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course Season Kickoff Fan Event
Ohio native John Paul Southern Jr. will attend the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course Season Kickoff tomorrow, participating in a fan moderated question and answer session with Verizon IndyCar Series driver Jack Harvey, IMSA WeatherTech Prototype champion Ricky Taylor and NASCAR Xfinity Series driver Ryan Truex. Fans can also meet and take photos with Southern during both scheduled autograph sessions.
In addition, attendees can take a pace car ride around the 2.4-mile, 15-turn road course (provided on a first-come, first-served basis) and watch the Mid-Ohio School timed Autocross and Skid Car demos in the center of the paddock. The free event is open to the public from 4-8 p.m. on Wednesday.
"I’m honored that I was invited to the event to represent F4 U.S. and F3 Americas,” said Southern. “I’m looking forward to meeting fans and sharing the Q&A stage with other Honda supported drivers like Jack Harvey.”
Driving his black No. 61 K-Hill Motorsports Ligier JS F4 machine, Southern will compete this season at Mid-Ohio during the Formula 4 United States Championship Powered by Honda weekend with Formula Race Promotions June 28-July 1. Southern will return to Mid-Ohio with the F3 Americas Championship Aug. 9-11 during the NASCAR Xfinity weekend.
