Druck Supports Cameron Das Fast Qualifier Award

Druck Supports Cameron Das Fast Qualifier Award

Cameron Das continues to leave his mark on F4 U.S.

With nine victories, 14 fast lap times and 11 pole positions seized, Cameron Das of Baltimore, dominated the inaugural season of the Formula 4 United States Championship Powered by Honda.

To memorialize his historic achievements, Druck will present the Cameron Das Fast Qualifier Award to the F4 U.S. Championship competitor who captures pole position during each qualifying round. Five-hundred dollars per event will be on the line for the drivers fighting for that first grid spot.

At the end of the season, competitors who gained speed after the qualifying rounds will have the opportunity to win a $2,000 grand prize for the most overall fast lap times of the season. During each of the six F4 U.S. event weekends, competitors have a potential to earn four fast lap times.

The award will be retro-active to recognize drivers from the first two events, Joshua Car (Road Atlanta) and Arthur Leist (Pittsburgh International Raceway). Brazilian driver Leist also took the honors of fast qualifier this past weekend, receiving the Cameron Das Fast Qualifier Award presented by Druck at Virginia International Raceway.

“Our brand, Druck, is about the passion of enthusiasts and racers alike,” said Druck owner Nathan Shriver. “Having the opportunity to work with SCCA Pro to present the Cameron Das Fast Qualifier Award aligns fantastically with that enthusiasm and passion.”

Druck produces motorsport inspired apparel, accessories and vinyl number kits and livery designed for enthusiasts and their vehicles. Druck has also committed to supporting Das in his hunt for the Euroformula championship, assisting with his brand development and marketing approach. The motorsport apparel company also designed an exclusive clothing line of Cameron Das gear. (https://camerondas.com/collections/teamgear)

The F4 U.S. Championship served as a gateway from karts to Formula 3 for Das. Since F4, Das has competed in the BRDC F3, the TRC in New Zealand and this season the inaugural champion debuted in Euroformula.  Das still holds the record for the most pole positions earned and is tied with Kyle Kirkwood (2017 F4 U.S. champion) for the most wins and fast times in a season.

The next stop for F4 U.S. is Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, supporting NASCAR Xfinity Series Aug. 8-10.
