Global Racing Group and Linus Lundqvist were three for three at Virginia International Raceway, claiming his fifth Formula Regional Americas Championship Powered by Honda checkered flag of the season. Lundqvist victory wasn't easy, as Joshua Car kept the 2018 BRDC British F3 champion honest. Car finished in second, just 0.256-seconds behind Lundqvist. HMD Motorsports rookie David Malukas secured third-place, his second of the weekend.
"This race wasn't easy," said Lundqvist. "Josh applied a tremendous amount of pressure. The car was competitive right out of the gate and I have my Global Racing Group crew to thank for that."
Newman Wachs Racing pilot Victor Franzoni and Andretti Autosport driver Danial Frost rounded out the top five.
