Winter Cup Venue Changes to Sebring International Raceway for FR Americas

To build on drivers’ off-season development, Parella Motorsports Holdings will introduce the 2021 Formula Regional Americas Championship presented by Honda season by hosting a Winter Cup test now at Sebring International Raceway Feb. 19-21.

Sebring will replace Homestead Miami Speedway on the 2021 FR Americas preseason schedule due to NASCAR moving the Dixie Vodka 400 to the event’s originally scheduled date.

The unofficial three-day weekend - for current and prospective championship drivers - will focus on education on and off the track, including non-points competitive races, driver instruction by Race Director Scott Goodyear and a sponsorship development coaching session by PMH owner Tony Parella.

“I am so excited to work with the young, up-and-coming talents in F4 U.S. and FR Americas,” explained PMH President and CEO Tony Parella. “I want to personally impact young drivers’ lives, by not only offering sponsorship advice but also giving them the tools to succeed off the race track. I want to be invested in their futures.”

The FR Americas Winter Cup will be held in conjunction with the Sebring SpeedTour which features the Trans Am Series presented by Pirelli and the Sportscar Vintage Racing Association. (The weekend also includes a pre-event test day on Thursday, Feb. 18).
