Kiwi Motorsport Adds Cooper Becklin to 2021 F4 U.S. Driver Lineup

Top level karter and podium winner in cars joins Kiwi Motorsport

With a storied career in karting, Cooper Becklin is set for his rookie season in the Formula 4 United States Championship Powered by Honda. Joining Kiwi Motorsport, Becklin will contest the full championship in 2021 as he looks to build upon his many podium results from both karting and the growing Formula Pro USA F4 Western Championship.

“We welcome Cooper to our team with open arms and are happy to have his talents as part of the Kiwi Motorsport family,” explained Teena Larsen. “Cooper has had much success in karting and has been testing with us through the first three months of 2021. His work ethic and willingness to learn is motivating, and we can’t wait to get started.”

Making his series debut this coming weekend at the Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta, Becklin will be part of a strong contingent for F4 drivers.

“I am excited to join such an awesome program in Kiwi Motorsport and hope that I can add to their impressive results resume,” explained Becklin. “The Kiwi Motorsport team means winning and they seem to have the proper people in place to do this with any one of their entries.”

Claiming multiple podiums results in the Formula Pro USA Western Championship, Becklin is also a member of the PSL Karting program, one of the top karting teams in North America. Becklin claimed the Senior ROK championship of the 2019 Challenge of the Americas and was a member of Team USA at the prestigious ROK Cup Superfinal in Italy. With a goal to become a professional in the world of motorsports, the now sixteen-year-old has his sights set high in 2021.

Becklin continued, “As a racer, the goal is always to win, and I know I am with the team that can do that. I will take each weekend one at a time and set new goals as I achieve them all while learning along the way. A huge thank you to Teena and Garry from Kiwi for the opportunity, and I am anxious for the first race this weekend.”
