Open to all Radical owners, from novice to seasoned drivers, the Blue Marble Radical Cup consists of three classes; PRO 1340 and PRO 1500 for both variants of the SR3 and the PLATINUM class, for the new 425bhp SR10 as well as the SR8, SPYDER and RXC models.

The series retains its highly popular format for 2021. Each weekend comprises of at least 60-minutes of practice, qualifying and three 40-minute races. This totals 18 races over 6 rounds, including two supporting IndyCar. A number of events will also feature additional promoter test sessions.

A pitstop in the final race of each weekend allows teams of two drivers to compete, while adding an additional element of strategy and teamwork– preparing drivers and crews alike for higher categories.

“The Radical Cup consistently develops top talent, whether that’s gentlemen drivers coming from country clubs, or kids stepping out of karts,” said Tom Drewer, Radical Sportscars (UK) Regional Manager, North America.

“Not only will you test yourself on the continent’s top tracks, you’ll star in front of huge crowds. Radical's are renowned for honing driver skills. They’re quick, confidence inspiring, and the series is much more cost effective than other LMP, GT and junior open-wheel options. And most importantly I don’t think there’s another series that has as much fun as we do, which is why we see so many drivers return year after year.”

Round 1 takes place during IndyCar’s season opener at Barber Motorsports Park, April 15-18. The Blue Marble Radical Cup will be on track Thursday through Saturday, leaving drivers to celebrate their success and absorb the full spectacle of IndyCar on Sunday or return home to be with family.

Preliminary event schedules for the first two rounds are now available for download. Drivers and crew can also sign up for their annual credentials using SCCA Pro’s new online portals.
