After First Points, Ryan Shehan Looks Forward to Mid-Ohio

After scoring his first career F4 United States Championship Powered by Honda points at Road America, Team Crosslink driver Ryan Shehan is looking for more. Set to take on the famed 2.4 mile, 15-turn Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, Shehan aims to carry the momentum from the most recent rounds into race seven, eight and nine of the 2021 season.

“I have not yet been to Mid-Ohio, but I have been studying hard to make sure I am as ready as possible heading into the event weekend,” explained Shehan. “I have a great team behind me, good equipment and valuable partners so I just need to get behind the wheel and do my thing. Fortunately, we have the opportunity to take advantage of some Promoter Test sessions prior to the official weekend so that will help.”

With two event weekends now behind him and knowing what it takes to run at the front of the field, Shehan has increased his preparation program off the track to ensure that he can perform better on it.

Shehan added, “The F4 Championship is very competitive. I know it is my rookie season but as a racer, I want to win. From Road Atlanta to Road America, we made huge strides and looking to do that again at Mid-Ohio this weekend. Mid-Ohio is the track that I had circled on my calendar, as the third event weekend, that I wanted to make sure that I was up to speed, and scoring points every opportunity possible.”
