NEWS FLASH: Leon Wins Mid-Ohio Opener

Noel Leon survived two restarts to take his second Formula 4 United States Championship Powered by Honda victory on Saturday, driving lights to checkers in the opening round at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course. 

Arias Deukmedjian crossed the line second with Canadian rookie Mac Clark taking third. 

"The team gave me a great car," said the DEForce Racing rookie. "This sets the tone for the weekend and we are excited to extend our points lead."

Justin Arseneau finished in fourth nearly two-seconds behind third-place Clark, followed by Bijoy Garg who rounded out the top 5. 

PMH Diversity Scholarship recipient Chole Chambers earned her first points of the season, finishing 10th.

The F4 U.S. drivers have a full day on Sunday with a double-header to finish out the Vintage Grand Prix of Mid-Ohio weekend. The full event is live streamed on the SVRA App:
