Another New Track for Ryan Shehan This Weekend

Quick learner hopes to get jump on competition

As it was with Road Atlanta, Road America and the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, this coming weekend’s F4 United States Championship Powered by Honda presents another new track for series rookie Ryan Shehan. Traveling to Minnesota and the Brainerd International Raceway, Shehan hopes that he can get the upper hand on his fellow competitors by doing just what he has done at each and every track in 2021 – learning the track quickly and then fighting for points.

“The nice thing about Brainerd is not many drivers have been there, it is not a facility where teams have track and setup knowledge, and it is not one where drivers have pounded out laps. With all of that, I am confident that we will be right on pace from the very first session, and I am anxious to see where we stack up after the first on track day on Friday.”

Off-track, Shehan continues to build his Ryan Shehan Racing program with physical and mental preparation, testing with his Crosslink Team, meetings with his management team and potential partners, getting a part-time job, and even a little down time to rest before traveling to Brainerd.

“I know how important it is to build the long-term partnerships needed to sustain my racing now and in the future. Our team is working hard every day to create value for our current partners and engage new ones,” explained Shehan. “We are very excited about the race at Circuit of the Americas being so close to home and are already working on some incredible events and opportunities. It will be a lot of fun on and off the track!”

But for this week, Shehan is focused on scoring points at Brainerd and moving up in the points.
