Atlantic Racing Team Announces F4 United States Championship Entry

February 6, 2022 - After over 2 years without racing due to Covid-19, Atlantic Racing Team - ATL are happy to announce the purchase of their first Ligier F4 race car and commit to enter the full 2022 Formula 4 U.S. Championship Powered by Honda (F4 U.S.) season.

“We are indeed happy to announce the purchase and hopefully two more F4 Ligier cars this week,” says team manager Ingo Strackerjan. He continues, “especially after not having been able to go racing over the past two years. Our entry into the new UK based GB4 series has been problematic with the current Covid travel restrictions entering Europe and returning to Canada in a timely and cost efficient manner. We just couldn’t wait any longer to commit ourselves to a racing series in 2022! We have been watching F4 U.S. since its inception and have seen tremendous growth in the series as well as that of young racers. Fortunate for ATL, all the equipment needed for a two-to-three car venue is all in-place and we can go testing within the next two weeks, breaking-in the engine/gearbox and getting used to the car.”

Any driver interested in testing the Ligier F4 car in the southern USA should get in contact with Atlantic Racing via email info@Atlanticracingteam.com or via social media (@atlanticracing).

Atlantic Racing Team was founded in 1989 in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada.  ATL has competed in Formula Ford, Formula 2000, Formula Renault, various GT and Enduro Series including such brands as Audi, VW, and Marcos since 1989.  From 2004 to 2011 Atlantic competed with multiple entries in the FBMW Americas Championship and FBMW Asia, including the Indy Pro Series.
