Ryan Shehan Looks to Continue Points Streak in Ohio
June 21, 2022 – Scoring points in five of six F4 United States Championship Powered by Honda events to date this season, Crosslink Kiwi Motorsport driver Ryan Shehan is looking to continue that trend this weekend. Taking on the fabled Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in Lexington, Ohio, Shehan will partake in rounds seven, eight and nine this weekend in his sophomore campaign.
“It has been a good year so far and that is proven by the points we have gained and our position in the championship,” explained Shehan. “Mid-Ohio is a track that I know and love so I am looking forward to the event and am confident we can have even more success.”
On the strength of one podium result and a pair of top-five finishes, Shehan sits seventh in the championship point standings and is looking to find his way back to the podium.
Shehan continued, “The season started with a podium in the first race, and we have been consistent in the points ever since then. When I look back at the photos of that podium result, it makes me hungry to make sure I am back there again and there is no better time than this weekend.”
Off the racetrack, Shehan continues to expand his partnership program. Set to announce a new ‘Pathfinder’ in the coming weeks, the young American from Austin, Texas is taking both the on track and business side of motorsports very seriously.
Ryan Shehan and the rest of the F4 United States Championship Powered by Honda drivers will hit the track Thursday for a Promoters Test session before official practice and qualifying on Friday. The first wheel-to-wheel race of the weekend will commence Saturday with race two and three on Sunday.
