February 14, 2023 – Fresh off victories in the Yacademy Winter Series, Frankie Mossman has confirmed his intentions for the remainder of the 2023 season. Joining the Jay Howard Driver Development (JHDD) program, Mossman will look to follow in the footsteps of Lochie Hughes, the 2022 Series Champion, as he is set to embark on a complete season in the F4 United States Championship Powered by Honda beginning at NOLA Motorsports Park in mid-March.

As a perennial front-runner in national-level karting, Mossman has been a force on track and looks to continue that success in open-wheel racing. Making the move from karts to cars in 2023, Mossman has his sights set solely on both the Rookie of the Year honors and the championship in the F4 US program.

“I am ecstatic to finally be able to announce my race program for 2023,” expressed Mossman. “We have been working to get to this point and with everything finally signed and ready to go, I can focus on racing, and winning, for JHDD in 2023!”

“Frankie has been a natural behind the wheel in our test program as he instantly showed speed from the very first day on track,” added Jay Howard. “The speed progressed into results at the Yacademy Winter Series over four of the last five days with pole positions, race wins, and podium results. As the reigning champions, we have the target on our backs for 2023 but I am confident that Frankie can deliver the results we need to earn back-to-back title.”

With a multi-series program that will feature drivers in the F4 United States Championship Powered by Honda, USF2000 Presented by Cooper Tires, and the USF Pro 2000 Presented by Cooper Tires championships, Jay Howard Driver Development has their goals set high in what will be a jam-packed race program this season.

Howard continued, “Frankie is another driver in our growing program and one that we feel can be a leader at the top of the point standings in 2023. We have more driver announcements coming soon so stay tuned.”

With the first event of the 2023 season taking the green flag in mid-March, Mossman will join the rest of the Jay Howard Driver Development effort as they look to start the F4 United States Championship Powered by Honda season off victorious over the March 9-12 weekend at NOLA Motorsports Park in New Orleans, Louisiana.
