Callum Hedge Secures FR Americas Pole for Road America SpeedTour

PLYMOUTH, Wis. (May 20, 2023) – Callum Hedge (No. 17 Crosslink Kiwi Motorsport Ligier JS F3) will lead the field off the starting block for the first time in his Formula Regional Americas Championship Powered by Honda (FR Americas) career after securing the pole position during Saturday morning’s qualifying session. With a 2:05.363 lap, Hedge was the quickest of a string of Crosslink Kiwi Motorsport cars with the team sweeping the top-four starting positions.

Cooper Becklin (No. 19 Crosslink Kiwi Motorsport Ligier JS F3) was second, and Ryan Shehan (No. 66 Crosslink Kiwi Motorsport Ligier JS F3) was third, with both drivers within one second of Hedge’s pace. Bryson Morris (No. 39 Crosslink Kiwi Motorsport Ligier JS F3) was fourth, and Nick Persing (No. 29 OPI Commercial Builders Inc. Ligier JS F3) rounded out the top five with his Cameron Racing entry.

Lights out for FR Americas’ Race 1 is scheduled for 3:20 p.m. CT today. Tomorrow, two more races will follow, along with a Fan Walk during the lunch break.
