2020 FR Americas Champion Linus Lundqvist Signed by Chip Ganassi Racing
CHARLOTTE (August 31, 2023) - Chip Ganassi Racing announced that Linus Lundqvist will join the organization as a full-time competitor in the INDYCAR SERIES beginning with the 2024 season. The multi-year contract joins the 2020 FR Americas Champion with one of the most successful teams in the INDYCAR paddock.
Substituting for an injured Simon Pagenaud, Lundqvist made three INDYCAR SERIES starts this season with Meyer Shank Racing. After advancing into the Fast 12 in qualifying during his debut weekend in Nashville, the Swedish-born driver went on to turn the fastest lap of the race overall in two of his three starts.
