VIR Race Preview || JENSEN'S Everett Stack Graduates to FR Americas
Everett Stack Graduates to Formula Regional Americas as Teammate to Oliver Westling
September 22, 2023 - JENSEN's Formula Regional Americas Championship Powered by Honda (FR Americas) team returns to racing action at VIRginia International Raceway (VIR) with two talented young drivers, Oliver Westling and Everett Stack.
Driving his Red Hat sponsored Ligier F3 car, Everett Stack will make his race debut competing at the Formula Regional level. 16-year-old Stack has been on an accelerated JENSEN driver development program throughout the 2023 season, which has included an extensive F3 testing, as well as race competition on the JENSEN F4 U.S. Championship team.
Oliver Westling returns to action after enjoying a career-best weekend at New Jersey Motorsports Park where he scored his maiden race victory in FR Americas. Fourth in the 2023 championship, Westling is gunning for more race victories at VIR driving the #1 JENSEN entry to move up in the season standings.Landan Matriano Lim returns to racing action in the Formula 4 United States Championship Powered by Honda (F4 U.S.) driving the #2 JENSEN entry. 21-year-old Matriano Lim has been competitive throughout the 2023 season, and is seeking a breakthrough weekend in his first year racing in the F4 U.S. Championship.
JENSEN team owner Eric Jensen commented, "The main objective with our race team program is to develop talented young drivers to have their chance at being professional race car drivers. Everett Stack graduating to our Formula Regional team in his rookie race season to partner with our sophomore driver, Oliver Westling, will make for a very rewarding weekend in Virginia, since it shows well that our team's hard work is working. Likewise Landan Matriano Lim is a very talented young man who hopefully will score his first big results of the season at Virginia."
