It’s Twelve Drivers Again for Crosslink Kiwi Motorsport at VIR

October 2, 2023  As the current Team and Driver Championship point leader in both the F4 United States Championship Powered by Honda and the FR Americas Championship Powered by Honda, Crosslink Kiwi Motorsport is bringing 12 drivers to the VIRginia International Raceway (VIR) this weekend. Divided equally between F4 and FR, the talent-filled program is aiming to add more race wins and podium results to their resume this weekend.

“It is the second to last event of the season and our goals are firmly set,” explained Teena Larsen. “We have excelled this weekend, but we need to keep pushing. With championships on the line, that is the number one priority.”

Crosslink Kiwi Motorsport enters the weekend with three drivers in the top-five of the F4 point battle with nine-time podium winner Patrick Woods-Toth leading the way. Titus Sherlock enters the event third in the championship points chase while Jesse Lacey slots into fifth. With six wheel-to-wheel races remaining, all three drivers will be aiming to score the maximum points possible to make their run at the title. Joining Woods-Toth, Sherlock, and Lacey will be Crosslink Kiwi Motorsport competitors Jett Bowling and Alex Benavitz along with Parella Motorsports Holding (PMH) diversity driver Hannah Greenemeier.

On the FR Americas side of the program, Crosslink Kiwi Motorsport has been the dominant force winning each of the 12 races that have taken place this season. With several podium sweeps in 2023, the potent six-driver squad will be looking for more at VIR. With two wins in a row and nine to his credit this season, Callum Hedge enters the weekend with a 55-point lead over ten and 11-time podium-winners Ryan Shehan and Cooper Becklin. Making her trip from the West Coast to compete at VIR will be Formula Pro USA Western Championships point leader Nicole Havrda as well as rookie Max Hewitt and veteran Kevin Janzen.

Larsen added, “We have already claimed the FR Americas Team Championship with six races remaining but there are still three more titles on the table to achieve our goal for this season.”
