After Sweeping Road America, Crosslink Kiwi Motorsport Heads to Indy This Weekend

June 12, 2024 – After a dominating performance at Road America, Crosslink Kiwi Motorsport and their FR Americas program are ready for the Indianapolis Motor Speedway this weekend. Bringing eight drivers and currently sitting first, second, third, and fifth in the championship standings, the potent program is looking to add to its 2024 win and podium total.

“We head to Indy with momentum and will look to continue with the success that we have gained this season to date,” expressed Teena Larsen. “We have eight drivers who can fight for more wins and podiums as we look to earn as many points as possible for both the Team and Driver Championships.”

Leading the way into Indy will be the current FR Americas point leader and 2023 F4 U.S. Championship winner, Patrick Woods-Toth, and 2023 FR America Vice Champion Ryan Shehan, as the two team drivers enter the event deadlocked on 86 points. Woods-Toth leads the pair in total number of wins with two, while Shehan has one win but scored points in all six races this season compared to Woods-Toth, who has only earned points in four. Behind them, Crosslink Kiwi Motorsport teammate Titus Sherlock sits third in the championship, a mere seven and a half points behind, making it a three-driver race up front. Nicole Havrda is coming off her strongest FR Americas weekend to date, earning a pair of podium results in races two and three at Road America and entering the weekend fifth in the championship. Nicole is looking to ride her own wave of momentum into Indy.

With four drivers in the top five of the championship chase, Crosslink Kiwi Motorsport will also have Jett Bowling, Landan Matriano Lim, Ricco Shlaimoun, and Kevin Janzen fly the team's colors in FR Americas. Bowling and Matriano Lim sit ninth and tenth in the championship standings, putting six Crosslink Kiwi Motorsport drivers in the top ten. All eight have earned points this season in at least three of the six races.

Larsen added, “This is the first time that FR Americas has been to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and the first time that any of our drivers have been here as well. It is a fresh slate for everyone, and we are confident that with the knowledge that we have under one tent, we will again be able to stand on the top step of the podium.”

Crosslink Kiwi Motorsport and their eight drivers will hit the track Thursday for a Test Day before the official race weekend starts on Friday with practice and qualifying. Wheel-to-wheel racing will take place Saturday and Sunday as the season will reach the midway point after the final checkered flag flies Sunday afternoon.
