Kiwi Motorsport Adds Another Team Championship at Barber Motorsports Park Season Finale

October 22, 2025 – It was a weekend to remember for Kiwi Motorsport as the team closed out the 2025 Formula Regional Americas Championship (FR Americas) and Formula 4 United States Championship (F4 U.S.) seasons at Barber Motorsports Park, securing both Team Championship titles in an impressive display of consistency and pace.
In FR Americas, the team kicked off the weekend on a high note with Bruno Ribeiro claiming pole position for Race 1, while 2025 F4 U.S. Champion Cooper Shipman—making his series debut—qualified an impressive third. Jett Bowling secured fourth, Nicolas Ambiado tenth, and Masters driver Kevin Janzen 11th overall, earning pole in his class.
Race 1 delivered excitement for the team. Shipman held steady to earn a third-place finish, claiming a podium in his first-ever FR Americas race. Race 2, however, marked redemption. Ambiado stormed back to claim third, followed closely by Bowling in fourth, Ribeiro in ninth, Shipman in tenth, and Janzen finishing 11th overall and first in class. Their combined efforts across the season clinched the FR Americas Team Championship title prior to the weekend and added points to their total this weekend, while Ambiado, Ribeiro, and Bowling locked down second, third, and fourth in the drivers’ standings. Janzen capped off his season as second in the Masters Championship.
In F4 U.S., Kiwi Motorsport’s dominance continued. Rising star Zach Fourie earned his best qualifying result of the season, starting second for Race 1, just ahead of teammates Clemente Huerta in sixth and Oliver Savoie in eighth. Race 1 saw Huerta charge to a third-place podium finish, with Fourie finishing fourth and Savoie eighth. Race 2 was another success story, as Fourie secured his first career F4 podium, finishing third, with Huerta close behind in fourth and Savoie rounding out the top 10 in ninth. The team’s consistent performance across the entire season earned Kiwi Motorsport the F4 U.S. Team Championship title, solidifying their place as one of the most successful operations in junior formula racing.
“This season has been nothing short of incredible,” explained Team Owner Teena Larsen. “To win both the FR Americas and F4 U.S. Team Championships, along with the F4 U.S. Driver Championship, is a true testament to the dedication, skill, and teamwork that every single person at Kiwi Motorsport has put in all year. I’m so proud of our drivers, engineers, mechanics, and support staff for the passion they bring to every race weekend. Ending the year on such a high note at Barber is the perfect reward for everyone’s hard work.”
Following a championship-winning year, the team will now enjoy a well-deserved break before preparing to return even stronger for the 2026 season.
