May 12, 2026 – Evagoras Papasavvas is set to take on the second round of the 2026 Formula Regional Americas Championship (FR Americas) this weekend at Road America. Competing with Crosslink Motorsports, Papasavvas enters the weekend with strong momentum following an impressive opening round at NOLA Motorsports Park, where he secured his first victory of the season. The strong performance currently places him second in the championship standings heading into Round 2.

Road America presents one of the most iconic and demanding challenges on the schedule. At over four miles in length, the Wisconsin circuit is the longest track on the 2026 FR Americas calendar, known for its long straights, high-speed corners, elevation changes, and heavy braking zones that create exciting racing opportunities, but challenges throughout each lap.

“Road America is an incredible track and definitely one of the highlights of the season,” explains Papasavvas. “It is fast, technical, and really rewards confidence and precision. Coming into the weekend second in the championship after a strong start at NOLA gives us a lot of motivation. The goal is to stay consistent, fight at the front, and continue building momentum.”

With confidence building early in the season, Papasavvas heads to Road America focused on continuing his championship campaign at one of North America’s most historic road courses. The weekend schedule will begin Thursday with testing, followed by practice and qualifying sessions on Friday. Saturday will feature the first race of the weekend, while Sunday will host a doubleheader to conclude the event.
