Kiwi Motorsport Earns Multiple Podiums at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, Turns Focus to Laguna Seca

June 24, 2026 – Kiwi Motorsport, a Chip Ganassi Racing Driver Development program, continued its strong 2026 FR Americas Championship campaign this past weekend at the famed Indianapolis Motor Speedway, collecting multiple podium finishes and valuable championship points during the fourth round of the season. The team fielded a two-car lineup featuring championship contender Cooper Shipman and teammate Harbir Dass as they took on the iconic road course at one of motorsport's most legendary venues.

Shipman opened the weekend with a podium finish in Race 1, crossing the line third after a hard-fought battle near the front of the field. Dass added to the team's point haul with a 10th-place result. Race 2 proved even stronger for Kiwi Motorsport. Shipman once again found himself in podium contention and finished second, while Dass delivered one of his best performances of the season, finishing fourth and narrowly missing out on a podium of his own. The final race of the weekend saw both drivers continue their consistency. Shipman secured another top-five result with a fourth-place finish, while Dass followed closely behind in sixth.

Across the three-race weekend, Kiwi Motorsport accumulated two podium finishes and six top-10 results, further strengthening its position in the FR Americas championship battle.

"Indianapolis was another strong weekend for our FR Americas drivers,” expressed Teena Larsen. “Cooper continued to show the speed and consistency that has kept him near the top of the championship standings all season, and Harbir put together one of his strongest weekends of the year with several excellent results. The entire team executed well from start to finish, and it's rewarding to see all the hard work paying off. We'll take the positives from Indianapolis and carry that momentum forward."
