    FR Americas Round 9 Results Ruled Official Following Appeal Hearing

    CHARLOTTE (July 21, 2026) – The appeal that placed a hold on the final results of Formula Regional Americas Championship (FR Americas) Round 9 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway has been finalized. On July 14, the National Court of Appeals delivered its decision regarding the appeal against Stewards Decision 406. As a result, the Stewards’ Penalty Decision stands as written. 

    Dennis Dean, an FIA International Steward who has previously served as a Formula 1 Steward and has been a mainstay in the world of motorsports officiating for more than 40 years, led the panel. He was joined by FIA International Steward Steve Pence, as well as Dave Hsu, an FIA Steward. 

    Under Article 16.2.1 in the FR Americas’ rulebook, the decision is final and the results are no longer provisional. Official race results are available, HERE.
