Kiwi Motorsport Heads to Barber With Shipman Battling for Top-Three Honors

October 13, 2026 – Kiwi Motorsport heads to Barber Motorsports Park this weekend for the final rounds of the 2026 Formula Regional Americas Championship (FR Americas), Formula 4 United States Championship (F4 U.S.), and Ligier Junior Formula Championship, with battles across all three programs set to reach their conclusion. The team enters the season finale with several drivers positioned to fight for championship and runner-up honors, setting the stage for a decisive weekend at the Alabama circuit.

In Ligier JFC, Jack Speth will represent Kiwi Motorsport as the team's sole entry in the Gen. 2 class. Speth arrives at Barber second in the Gen. 2 championship standings, trailing by just 13 points, leaving little margin for error as he looks to secure the title in the season's final races.

The F4 U.S. lineup will feature Caleb Campbell, Clemente Huerta, and Ayden Kohut on track. Zach Fourie and Campbell enter the finale second and third in the championship standings, respectively, putting both drivers in position to challenge for top-three honors, but Fourie will be forced to miss the event due to unforeseen circumstances. Huerta and Kohut will also look to finish their seasons on the podium as the team works to maximize its results across the three-car effort.

In FR Americas, Kiwi Motorsport will field Cooper Shipman and Harbir Dass. Shipman currently sits third in the championship standings with his sights on the Vice Champion honors, while Dass enters the final round seventh overall. Both drivers will aim to close out the season with strong performances and help Kiwi Motorsport finish its campaign on a high note.

“We're heading into Barber with a lot to fight for across all three championships, and that's an exciting position for our team,” says Team Owner Teena Larsen. “Jack has done a great job putting himself second in the Ligier JFC, but with only 13 points separating him from the competition, we'll need to execute every session. We have four drivers in the top six in the F4 U.S. standings, and Cooper and Harbir have had several podiums and a competitive season in FR Americas. Our entire team has worked incredibly hard to get here, and we're focused on giving every driver the opportunity to finish the year with the results they've been working toward.”

In the Ligier JFC program, Kiwi Motorsport has amassed 13 podium results, including three wins and 10 second-place results. In F4 U.S., Kiwi Motorsport drivers have earned six wins and 23 podium finishes, while FR Americas competitors scored three victories and have made 10 trips to the podium.

With opportunities still on the table in Ligier JFC, F4 U.S., and FR Americas, Kiwi Motorsport heads to Barber ready to make its final push and close out the 2026 season on a high note. The weekend begins with practice on Friday, followed by qualifying and Race 1 on Saturday. Sunday will feature the final races of the season across the three series, with championship positions to be decided.
