Clemente Huerta Raab Sweeps F4 U.S. Season Finale at Barber

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (October 19, 2026) – Clemente Huerta Raab capped off the 2026 Formula 4 United States Championship (F4 U.S.) season with a weekend sweep, winning Race 1 and 2 at Barber Motorsport Park.

Notes of Interest:

  • Earning his first F4 U.S. win yesterday, Clemente Huerta Raab once again returned to victory lane, sweeping the weekend at Barber Motorsports Park.
  • Fernando Rivera earned his best finish of the season with a second-place result in Race 2.
  • Finishing third, Caleb Campbell returned to the podium for the ninth time this season. The result moved Campbell to second in the points standings, earning him the Vice Champion title.
  • Gastón Irazú won the 2026 F4 U.S. Driver Championship. As part of his prize, the Uruguayan will also receive the Champion’s Scholarship, which will provide him with support from Ligier Automotive, Hankook Tire and Racing America to advance his career in 2027.
  • Clemente Huerta Raab became the fifth driver to win in F4 U.S. in 2026 with his Barber wins this weekend. Four nations and three continents have been represented by our 2026 winners, with Uruguayan Gastón Irazú and Chilean Clemente Huerta Raab both hailing from South America, South African Zach Fourie from Africa, and Canadians Caleb Campbell and Cole Medeiros representing North America.

After setting the fastest lap on Saturday, Clemente Huerta Raab (No. 17 Kiwi Motorsport Ligier JS F422) led the field to the green flag. With the Chilean immediately pulling to the front, second-place starter Gastón Irazú (No. 27 Elia Group / Baly / Canal 4 / Ancap / Champagne Racing Ligier JS F422) was immediately challenged by third-place starter Caleb Campbell (No. 68 Steele Auto Group / Kiwi Motorsport Ligier JS F422). As Campbell pulled ahead, Irazú dove to the inside of Turn 2, but moved up the track and made contact with Campbell, to spin both drivers. Irazú was the first car to refire and leave the scene, but Campbell moved ahead once again as Irazú spun again on the same lap. Through the attrition, Fernando Rivera (No. 16 Crosslink Motorsports Ligier JS F422) took over second, while Ayden Kohut (No. 18 The Builders Source / The Genie Company / Kiwi Motorsport Ligier JS F422) moved into third.

Campbell, however, was on a mission to race back through the field and gain points to take the Vice Champion title. First passing series newcomer Jeremiah Thomas (No. 46 Team Roberts Ligier JS F422), Campbell then made his way around teammate Kohut to move into third.

Leading from flag to flag in the all-green race, Huerta was the first to cross the finish line, followed by Rivera in second and Campbell in third.

“Yesterday was really a fight, which makes it more entertaining, but today was more of like a calm race. I managed to keep the car in first the whole race,” said Huerta Raab after climbing from the car. “I’m proud of it because it’s a challenge for me, being consistent. It seems I make a better effort when I’m racing more, but that was pretty good. I’m very happy. Thank you to everyone who supports me—my family, my dad, my friends and my Kiwi Motorsport team. Thank you.”
